L Townend Ltd has been manufacturing lightweight, high strength steel tipping bodies for three generations producing tough and trusted truck bodies, built to a very high standard using the best steels making them hard wearing and long lasting. The family run business prides itself on being able to offer a quick turnaround on body builds and an excellent aftercare service to all its customers.

With over 32 years of experience and expertise in building bodies, the company is able to offer a bespoke design and manufacture service and a flexible approach which ensures it can respond to the individual client brief.

The Samson and The Governor are just two examples of our range of tipping bodies. We also manufacture general purpose mild steel tipping bodies, heavy duty rock bodies as well as a bespoke design and manufacture service made to your specification’.
